Using the site

By using evinfo.uk you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. We may update these terms; the date above tells you when they last changed.

The figures are estimates

The range calculator is a model, not a measurement of your car. It starts from independently published real-world range figures and adjusts them for temperature, motorway mix, charge limit and driving style. Real range depends on things the model cannot see: your tyres, wheel size, load, roof boxes, wind, terrain, traffic, battery age and condition, tyre pressures, use of preconditioning, and how you actually drive. Treat the output as a realistic ballpark, not a guarantee.

Costs are calculated from the tariff rates and assumptions shown on the page. Energy prices change frequently, tariffs are withdrawn and replaced, standing charges and regional rates vary, and eligibility conditions apply to most EV tariffs. Rates were checked on the date shown on the page and will drift out of date.

Not advice

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, legal or professional advice, and nothing here is a personal recommendation. Decisions about buying a car, changing energy supplier or entering a salary sacrifice arrangement should be made on the basis of your own research and, where appropriate, qualified advice. Always confirm specifications and prices with the manufacturer and tariff terms with the supplier before committing.

Independence and the referral link

evinfo.uk is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Tesla, Inc., EV Database, Ofgem or any energy supplier named on the site. Product names and trade marks belong to their respective owners.

The site contains a Tesla referral link. If you order a new Tesla through it, Tesla credits free Supercharging to your account and credits the same amount to ours. It costs you nothing and does not change the price you pay. This is disclosed on the page itself as well as here. Tesla sets, changes and withdraws the offer entirely at its own discretion, and the terms on Tesla's own site govern it — we have no control over whether the credit is honoured.

We do not accept payment from energy suppliers to appear in the tariff table or to be ranked in a particular position. The table is ordered by unit rate.

Accuracy and availability

We put real effort into keeping the data correct and we cite our sources, but we do not warrant that the site is accurate, complete or current, and we do not guarantee it will be available uninterrupted. Errors happen — if you spot one, tell us at info@evinfo.uk and we will fix it.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the information on this site, including any financial loss from a vehicle purchase, a tariff switch, or a journey that did not go as the calculator suggested.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Intellectual property

The text, design and calculation model on this site belong to us. The underlying range data is published by EV Database and the price cap figures by Ofgem; both are credited and linked on the site. You are welcome to link to us and to quote us with attribution. Please do not republish the site wholesale.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
